Employment

UNICEF Supply Division, located in Copenhagen, oversees UNICEF's global procurement operations. The Division has over 200 staff, from some 65 countries. In addition to our administrative offices, we operate a warehouse from which we ship supplies to UNICEF offices worldwide. We occasionally seek support staff with experience in the following areas:

  • accounting/finance
  • customer services
  • information technology
  • procurement and contracting
  • secretarial/administration
  • shipping and logistics
  • pharmaceuticals, vaccines and medical, nutritional and educational supplies
  • warehousing

Most applicants must have valid residency and work permits for Denmark. The exception is a small number of international positions. Please refer to specific vacancy announcements for details. For administrative positions:
Individuals interested in being considered for future short- or longer-term assignments are invited to submit a letter of interest and a detailed CV in ENGLISH. Please indicate on your CV your competencies as they relate to UNICEF’s work. We will then add your application to our database of active candidates, assuming your profile matches our needs. Applications should be sent to the e-mail or postal address indicated below. Please include your e-mail address and daytime telephone number in your application. Please follow all application instructions in vacancy announcement carefully. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

For warehouse employment:
Individuals interested in employment in the Supply Division warehouse in Copenhagen should have a command of both Danish and English and be in good physical health. Possession of a Class B Forklift certificate is advantageous. Female applicants are encouraged.
